About us
At The Olive Tree School in Potchefstroom, we understand that every child learns differently. We offer a supportive and specialised educational environment for learners from Grade RR to Grade 9 who are on the Autism Spectrum (ASD) or experience Attention Deficit Hyperactivity Disorder (ADHD).
Our small classes, with a maximum of seven learners per group, are guided by a dedicated teacher and assistant who provide individual attention and care. We focus on each child’s unique strengths and needs, helping them to build confidence, independence, and social skills through a balance of structured lessons and interactive, group-based learning experiences. To further support our learners, we offer access to a sensory room, a calm, soothing space that reduces anxiety and enhances concentration as well as an occupational therapy room designed to promote physical development and sensory integration.
We provide a full-day programme (07:30–13:30) and aftercare (13:30–16:30), creating a safe and nurturing environment where children can learn, play, and grow at their own pace.
